| Whether you arrive late at your campsite and just want to bed down for the night quickly, or face tricky weather conditions of wind and driving rain, the Rapidex® Quick Erect System provides a wonderfully practical solution. Fast. Every Khyam Tent (with just the exception of the Zestec range) offers this unique pre-assembled system as standard, allowing you to erect a Classic Khyam (Backpacking and Touring range) tent in an amazing 20 seconds, and even the larger scale Ridgi-dome family tent in just a few minutes.  Every Khyam tent comes in a handy carry bag with twin handles. The tent packs away neatly, providing a well balanced load for carrying. |
 The tent is removed from the carry bag, held in a vertical manner with the pole ends pointing up. The poles fall out forming a star shape with the hub in the centre. |
 The majority of poles have two different types of hinged joint - the top joint nearest the hub locks into position manually using a specially designed locking collar, whilst the lower one locks automatically once the poles are fully extended. |
 Ensuring that there is no restriction of movement for the fabric pole sleeves each joint locks into place until the tent is free standing. |
 The final stages are completed by locking the porch (where applicable) into position. Inner tents are either already in position or simply clipped into place. Peg out the tent and the job is completed. Simple and quick. |
