RECCO RESCUE SYSTEM

 

RECCO is an electronic avalanche rescue system for the location of avalanche victims equipped with RECCO passive transponders (‘reflectors’)

The system is composed of Detectors (used by ski patrols and rescue teams} and Reflectors (passive devices that do not require batteries, worn on the skier’s outer clothing or boots).

Because the detectors are lightweight and portable they can be brought to avalanche sites easily. D2B clothing has RECCO reflectors on all waterproof outer garments.
